| Because the existing galvanised steel gutter was badly rusted we inserted a new galvanised steel break pressed former to match the existing profile. This was fixed into the sides to create a new level sole to prevent ponding and puncture. 8no. outlets and 2no. stop ends and 2no. weir overflows were heat welded to the liner to create a joint and detail free gutter. Because the sole of the gutter was 600mm wide and the sites high exposure location holding down straps were also fixed at 2.0m centre to prevent wind uplifting the liner. |
